In October 2011, we got a call from Roger Fitzhardinge telling us we had to get to Sydney to buy this horse.  So we went and tried Zac, though I wasn't convinced, we trusted Roger and bought him anyway.  Zac was already an established Grand Prix horse trained by Blas Lago, so he was a great opportunity for me to get experience at the Grand Prix movements but never did I think we would be as successful as we were.  After just a year of owning Zac, we qualified to compete at Equitana Melbourne against Australia's best horses and riders and we placed 8th!

Together we had top placings at CDIs, State and National competitions at Grand Prix. In 2012 the Sydney CDI introduced the U25 Grand Prix tour in which we came 2nd in the Grand Prix 3 years running, 2012, 2013 and 2014.  But in 2014 we managed a win in the Grand Prix Freestyle.  Another of our highlights was winning the 2013 Aachen Challenge and Zac was awarded Best Horse as well.  In 2015 we competed at our last competition together at National Young Riders where we won the U25 Grand Prix tour before deciding to but Zac on the market.

After advertising Zac we had many inquires and he was sold after just 3 days!  I couldn't have asked for a better home for Zac at Karingal Equestrian with Karen and Charlotte Waterman.  Together Charlie and Zac have been quite successful in CDI-Y events in 2016, and I wish them all the best for 2017.
